Happy Anniversary

I've been married to the same man for a year now. We've been together close to seven years before we decided to take it to the altar. We just recently turned one, and I believe the best is yet to come.
Again, we thank the Lord for His faithfulness, everlasting love, and guidance that sustain our marriage. For with his mercy, all things are possible. :)

Quebec City

A good friend, Yani, along with her husband, from Newfoundland and Labrador (an eastern province in Canada) visited us over the Christmas season. It was actually her 3rd visit in Montreal. We took this chance to visit Quebec City and try out fun snow activities in the largest winter playground in North America, the Village Vacances Valcartier. It was indeed nice catching up with a friend from way back 2005.

Happy New Year

I write this from the comforts of my living room, with praise & worship song blasting on the background and that lingering smell of our scented candles.

I praise the Lord for good days like today. It's -6 deg C outside, cold and gloomy, but my heart is not. Yes, I feel a certain void and longing ever since the death of my mother. I give thanks to the Lord for His ever faithfulness and healing power. Although it is very hard to understand His ways, I believe His love will sustain whatever emptiness my heart feels.

Fall 2019

I bet you can never name someone who dislikes fall. Autumn has earned extreme bragging rights with its beautiful colors of orange, red, yellow, or brown, the sweet smell of crisp air, and the thought of familiar comfort the changing season brings about.

From where I live now, people scram with filling their calendars short weekend getaways to enjoy the season. Every year, they try to outdo the past that was, and bravely face the long and dragging impending doom that is winter. 

And then, we say “Until next time, my lovely friend.”

Hello, world!

Has it really been five years since my last entry? My, time is sure fast!

A lot of happened since then, that’s for sure. You see, I moved to Canada, got married to my best friend, made new friends, traveled, and constantly tried to make the best out of my life.

I’m writing from my mobile and passing time between catching flights. I hope someone, somewhere gets to read this and know that whatever you’re going through, hang in there because there is hope in Christ.
